Rise and fall Wool and Bead Work Banner circa 1850.


Highly decorative ebonised wood and brass pole stand with gilding.


The banner is of shield form brightly and richly coloured being decorated with Cuckoo Pint ( also called Lord and Ladies a native plant of Southern Europe and North Africa ) and Cala Lilly set against a vibrant red/maroon background and hung from the reverse of the banner is in a maroon Regency stripe material presented in nice condition for its some 170 years age mentioned for accuracy some wear to the silk reverse , also a few small needle work loss's please see photos to ascertain its condition
