Late Georgian or early Victorian Mahogany Shotgun Case

Remnants of label inside bearing maker’s name the Forsyth Patent Gun Company. This company was in existence between 1806 and 1852. With brass handle and fittings. Felt lining missing from bottom part of interior. Also a couple of corners of wood missing as shown in the photos. 87cm (L), 23cm (W), 8.5cm (H).
